Prawn is safer doesn't get you kicked out by the Iceworm. Either you can make the jump with the Prawn or you just go around to reach the place where you want to go anyway. Maybe not as high and idk if how the grapple-arm works above water, but it's not like the landscapes are cluttered with high ledges anyway. Although as i only have it stock rn idk maybe with boost upgrade module you can boost so much so that it ends up faster then the Prawn? Strafe-walking + Jump-boosting i feel like the Prawnsuit is actually faster than the Snowfox even with it boosting.
I mean ye it does these things, but the Prawnsuit seems to do all it just better, no? "Anyways, at least it's the fast way to get around the landscape, lets you not worry about heat and with jump module (haven't crafted/tested it yet) you can even get to higher places easily, right?" - Well ye except NO. While that's not that big of an issue, it still felt not right how seemingly even small jumps damaged this hover-bike. While that's the main issue i personally have with it, shortly after crafting it i took it for a quick spin around only to eventually notice how my vision somehow is really bad, and further noticing that it was smoke and that my snowfox was heavily damaged.? It was only like 2-4 minutes of driving it around, and i don't remember actually bumping alot into terrain or taking huge jumps. However on the flipside it feels like bs when i hear the noise of the iceworm appearing, instantly boost away only to still get kicked off even tho it looks like i should be way out of range.
That said, iirc remember correctly it used to kick you off instantly where you now get kicked of only when the iceworm actually appears/does something. I was hoping and excited to see what changes they did to it, buuuut it seems like they barely did any?Īlthough less often, probably because it attacks not as obnoxiously frequently like in the early days, you still just get kicked of the Snowfox by the Iceworm. Started playing again a couple days ago, continuing a world i played already quite a bit in some them ago (unusual for me, i tend to create new worlds quick).Īnd while i already used/tested the Snowfox in the more Early-Developmemt-Days, i got around crafting one in my current world and thus using it for the first time in the final/full release version of the game.
